Lollipop Cruise, Part 42: Please See Me Through
Part 42 of the Lollipop Cruise series.
- Lollipop Cruise

Lyrics
“Rockabye Baby… It’s time to sit back…
We’ve been through so much… Please… sit back & relax…
We’ve both suffered pain and loss and fear…
When we couldn’t bear to feel helpless… we took out our spears…
Let our babies play… Let them be safe every day…
“Alicia… Alisha… I need your help…
Alicia… Alisha… You must see me through…
In this moment of darkness… I can’t see where I’m headed…
The only one who knows… and can help me is… you.
Hundreds of thousands will die tomorrow… If I can’t solve a riddle tonight…
Hundreds of thousands will die tomorrow… If I can’t solve a riddle tonight…
Hundreds of thousands will die tomorrow… If I can’t solve a riddle tonight…
To solve it… I must find something they and us love… with all our might
Euruura says that’s how one makes peace… She says that this is how it goes…
Help me find what we all love… Help me make us friends… not foes.”
Alicia’s eyes were serious & sad… She’d listened carefully,
“If there’s to be peace… It won’t be based on what only you think & do…
Who are they? Do they want friends… or do they wish to conquer & kill?
Are there many groups within their army? Or do they all think with one will?”
Alicia continued, “Their fear and love may both be strong…
We must appeal to their love… & observe their fear & anger.
Fear is natural… What one does with anger reveals their spirituality.
Universal loves are: babies, young children, newlyweds, family, country, & God.”
Mee Kah-El spoke,
“Guards… summon Joshua. I need my brother’s help to win…
The words that may save us… should come from… us.”
A voice behind Mee Kah-El spoke… From a place nobody should’ve been,
“I’m right here… behind you… my anointed brother… always in your service.”
Mee Kah-El jumped… Upon landing… he exclaimed,
“Joshua… darn it… Don’t do that! You scared me to death…
You’re quite the stealthy dude… dude.”
“How may I be of service… to He who’ll greet the Messiah…” Joshua joked.
Mee Kah-El laughed… then commanded Joshua,
“Speak to our people, tell me what they think the answer to our riddle is:
What common love do we share with our enemy? Go… Ask them now.”
“Yes, sir. I’m back with the answers. Did you know I was once my father’s oldest son who got much of his attention and teaching… Now, I’m only his oldest son?”
“How could you be back with their answers if you haven’t left yet?”
“Euruura taught me beginner’s time travel. I’ll teach you. Here’s what they said:
“Rockabye Baby… It’s time to relax…
We’ve been through so much… Please… just sit back…
We’ve both suffered pain and loss and fear…
When we couldn’t bear to feel helpless… we took out our spears…
Let our babies play… Let them be safe every day…
Maybe this wouldn’t feel so odd… If we started praying together… to God.
Let’s add a loving afterlife to our ancient tragic stories… ”
