Lollipop Cruise, Part 46: Leaving the Cave

A million man army proudly marches on... The enemy changes how they dress.

Their clothing adds color and emotion… Silk & cotton... Robes, belts, & straps…

The black went back to background… Self-expression feels safe to leave the cave…

Lighter clothes led to warmer smiles… kinder words… & laughing children at play.

From the right… were screeching cries… screaming cries… searching cries…

From the right… some sort of fright… seemed threatening to all nearby.

Mee Kah-El & Alicia have the same thought… have the same thought…

Have the same thought… Mee Kah-El & Alicia have the same thought,

“Right is the decoy… left is the threat.”

Both turn to the left… the only ones… to see 3 dark figures running at them…

They run as blurs… through the shadowed undergrowth of early morning.

“Protect the King,” Alicia blurts out as she runs towards the figures to protect all…

Alicia sees the evil witch… It’s Euruura’s sister… holding a black lily bouquet.

Soldiers guard Mee Kah-El with interlocking shields. General Ezra gallops on a camel.

He leads a troop of Camel soldiers to line up in front of the shields as further defense.

Because Alicia met them half way in their run… They couldn’t get too close…

The evil witch could only get within 70 feet of Mee Kah-El… instead of 10 feet.

La Bruja correctly assessed her only hope for victory was to take out the leader.

Somehow the witch began to spin… The other two became identical to La Bruja…

They all spin… round and round… Which one is real?... Which one is real?...

Which one is real?... Does anybody know?... Can anybody tell who’s real?

The real witch spins within thirty five feet… and tosses the black lilies into the air…

The crowd sees… realizes… and freezes… The deadly spores are surfing the breezes.

“She is weak… See her evil ways… She gains power only when we fear her…

Dismiss her as foolish… and all her poison disappears.”

Alicia ran to the lily spore cloud & breathed it in to protect all… especially Mee Kah-El.

Nobody noticed a lumbering camel… Nor the whoosh of a sword slicing through air…

General Ezrah knew La Bruja was evil… He cut off her head… She’d never do this again.

Alicia reassured the crowd, “You see, there’s nothing for you to fear…

God protects your great leader… A witch only has power when you doubt God & fear.”

As the crowd slowly settled down… Mee Kah-El ran to Alicia, hugged by hundreds…

“Please take me to where we can sit… and I can catch my breath…”

The 2 sit in private… Wildflowers surround the boulder… upon which they proudly sit.

She takes his hand… looks into his eyes… and carefully she says,

“My love… you’ve purified your enemy to become your friend…

You’ve made Heaven on Earth… You’ve done it my Mee Kah-El…”

“And you, Alicia, will be my Queen in this kingdom… Our destiny was sealed by God.”

“I’m sorry I lied, my love. God did not lie… He said I would help you reach Heaven.

You’re here… my love… we made it together after all.”

“What do you mean you lied?”

“Maybe someday beliefs can override the toxic black lily flower… but not yet… ”

Her eyes closed. “Aliciaaaaaa!!!! Aliciaaaaaaa!!!! Aliciaaaaaa!!!! Aliciaaaaaaa!!!!
