Lollipop Cruise, Part 17: “Hail… Mee Kah-El”
Part 17 of the Lollipop Cruise series.

Lyrics
Cheryl played with 4-year-old Anastasia’s curls…
It’d been so long since she’d played with girls…
Had she ever really?
At first it was awkward… holding another baby…
It wasn’t hers… It was Ruth’s… And, she’d secretly sworn off mothering anyone else…
She claimed Tim & Kalman drained her of any milk her birth family had left behind…
Ruth smiled--Cheryl relaxed… as she sang a song of a runaway curl to her tiny friend.
Tired wrinkled hands… touched baby smooth skin…
Sparrows chirped… Grasses swayed… as Spring winds kept changing their minds.
What sounded like crows cawing in the distance… was something else.
Cawing was how Tim communicated with Satan, Michael, Gabriel, & other angels.
They’d mind-speak with him… Only sometimes could he mindspeak back.
Cheryl played with 4-year-old Anastasia’s curls…
It’d been so long since she’d played with girls…
Had she ever really? Now… she sang a song…
Of a runaway curl… to her tiny new friend.
Michael, the head angel and great defender, spoke first,
“Tim… Do you have a Hebrew name?” Tim stumbled,
“Hmm… I don’t know.” Satan interrupted, “Tim was from a Greek ancestor…
Who rebelled against his mother Eunice’s Hebrew people. I say replace “Tim” with… “Mee Kah-El”… which means, “Who is like God?”’
Minister Angel Michael protested, “He gets MY name?” Tim smiled & proclaimed,
“From now on… when I serve my people, my name is “Mee Kah-El.’”
Thousands of angels knelt… They said in unison, “Hail… Mee Kah-El.”
The Ishan order of angels proclaimed, “Shirahhh… Shirahhh… Shirahhh…
V’nishtacha-ve… V’nishtacha-ve… V’noshuvo alaychem… V’noshuvo alaychem…
Shirahhh… Shirahhh… Shirahhh… Shirahhh… Shirahhh… Shirahhh.”
Cheryl played with 4-year-old Anastasia’s curls…
It’d been so long since she’d played with girls…
Had she ever really? Now… she sang a song…
Of a runaway curl… to her tiny new friend.
“Mee Kah-El,” Angel Michael again tried, “Beyond those mountains to the SW…
There’s a dangerous enemy approaching… It must be a test to see if you’re worthy.
You may be well-suited to help bring about peace and harmony…
But to be a great leader or king… You must also be able to lead your people to war.”
“War?” Mee Kah-El repeated… stunned.
He didn’t know what was coming… Nor what he should do.
He wondered how he could stay strong… Where had Alicia gone?
Satan looked way down into Mee Kah-El’s eyes and growled,
“When you defend your people… Don’t let them see you need a woman.”
Mee Kah-El asked, “OK. So… What can you tell me about what’s coming?...
And how should we prepare?” Michael interrupted, “Coordinate with Ezra…
His people have an organized army. They’ll integrate & utilize moderns.”
Back at camp, by swaying grasslands…
The women and children continued to play…
The runaway curl… was still running its way…
Ruth suddenly noticed the silence…
She realized there was no more cawing.
Cheryl played with 4-year-old Anastasia’s curls…
It’d been so long since she’d played with girls…
Had she ever really? Now… she sang a song…
Of a runaway curl… to her tiny new friend.
