Lollipop Cruise, Part 23: Chirping Sparrows
Part 23 of the Lollipop Cruise series.
- Lollipop Cruise

Lyrics
Hundreds of thousands of chirping sparrows… gather to chatter… about today…
They’re bursting with so much… they have to say… that they MUST say.
They chirp & chirp ‘til all is said… They conclude today’s the legendary day…
They’ve forever awaited. The sky’s dark… but it’s noon. This is no ordinary day.
They know something ominous is approaching… and it’s coming soon.
It has apocalyptic destruction… It has Divine Glory… Soon it will be a different world.
A sparrow named Keeerok has a brighter orange chest than the rest.
Tseeeka spots him at great distances… She can always find her bright orange spot.
He is her bird… and she is his. This is no longer pondered… it simply is.
Keeerok is hopping… Tseeeka is following… Both are glad to be together…
The hunter pounces… piercing his beak into the soil… Then pulling out a worm.
He offers it to Tseeeka… She bows gratefully… then proudly takes it…
She gobbles it down… Tseeeka swallows it and burps. She tilts her head gratefully.
Keeerok points with his beak… he sees special candy food for his aviary queen…
He points at 2 fluttering butterflies… one is black, gold & burgandy…
The other a turquoise queen with black & red… A prince alights on a red peony…
In no rush… she lands on a purple spray of a butterfly bush.
Tseeka passionately chirps,
“NO! They’re in love. They love each other as we do. Neither you nor I can eat them!”
He understands he can’t eat the pretty candy couple... He isn’t sure why.
Hawks fly overhead… eyeing Keeerok and Tseeeka… eyeing them to eat.
Suddenly, hundreds of sparrows trained for this… swarm the hawks away.
Azure skies…. Azure skies… So quiet you can hear the flies…
Closer to Earth are calls of all kinds of chirping birds.
Hungry breezes… angry gusts… wine, moan, & scream through reeds & trees.
The ground begins to desperately shake… It vibrates from…
Charging elephants, a half-million soldiers, & deep war drums drumming.
Tseeeka sought more with Keeerok… She swallowed the worm & urgently asked,
“Keeerok, please mind-think with me personally… emotionally…
Don’t just mind-think with me about communal matters… OK?”
“What do you mean? What did you have in mind, Queenie?”
“If some great change is about to happen… where everyone can be free…
Of all bindings from their past… What should you & I do with our new freedom?”
Tseeeka mind-thought to Keeerok,
“My Keeerok, I know your mind. You won’t answer me because you can’t…
You can’t step apart from the flock or bird you’re with and be YOU.
“But, Queenie, will you stay with me the day after the Final Day… tomorrow?”
“I will only stay with you… if you embark on the new path… which is:
Will you or you won’t honor your God-given Soul & help it develop?”
Bam… Bam…. Bam… Bam…Bam… Bam… Bam… Bam… Bam…
Thunderous feet came charging through… Legs 6 feet high… 100 pounds each…
Dirt and rocks flew… as they thundered & crushed… armored, angry, & looking to kill.
Machine gun fire erupted from straw huts atop the elephants… arrows & spears too.
Keeerok and Tseeeka escaped just in time. Who’d have guessed elephants can fly?
Waves upon waves of men dressed in black… follow the armored pachyderms…
Some begin to shoot at heads they see coming above the trenches.
A hundred thousand angry warriors yell, “God is great. God is great.”
Tseeeka & Keeerok mind-thought, “Their God unnecessarily attacks. That’s no good.
He may be Great… He may be strong… but a good God acts from love--not hate.”
Keeerok is hopping… Tseeeka is following… Both are glad to be together…
The hunter pounces… piercing his beak into the soil… Then pulling out a worm.
He offers it to Tseeeka… She bows gratefully… then proudly takes it…
She swallows it, gobbles it down, and burps. She tilts her head gratefully.
