Lyrics

Mee Kah-El holds his hands to each side of his head and wails,

“Nooo… Nooo… My men are being hit. My men are being killed…

Noooo….Noooo… This cannot be!” He is anguished & stunned.

Where is his shield? Where is his firepower? What happened to their mine fields?

Elephants crash through sandbag walls… Bullets & arrows attack the defenders…

From within huts atop 200 huge charging beasts… Armor stops enemy bullets…

Sharp tusks spear horrified soldiers in the first trenches…

Many screaming wounded and bleeding corpses are tossed high.

Satan spoke to Mee Kah-El,

“But you were so proud to be the anointed great leader & general…

Aren’t you practically God’s chosen one? You’re just one stop behind the Messiah?

Please tell me, young Mee Kah-El… You’re with God… So, you’re doing fine. Right?”

We’re taught that big is better than small… and short is bad while good is tall..

But if we make ourselves too big and tall… There’s no place left for Hashem at all!

Satan smiled a creepy smile & said, “Very well, young man, you’ve passed this test.”

“No… No, I’m not doing fine. My men are dying. This wasn’t supposed to happen.

General Ezra… Why is our fire power not more effective?

General Ezra began to reply, “It’s the oddest thing sir, all our electronics jammed…

But we’re certain we weren’t jammed by the attacking army…”

Satan’s eyes began to glow red…

Rabbi Twersky cautioned, “General… I’d pause that line of discussion…”

Satan’s red eyes returned to normal. He continued…

“So, Mee Kah-El… Your failure has cost the lives of men who believed in you…

You inspired them to risk their lives for God… They followed you. Now they’re dead.”

“I’m no good as a leader. You’re right. I shouldn’t be in this position… It was irresponsible of me to have accepted it. General Ezra, perhaps you should take over…” General Ezra did not speak… The General did not even move... He barely breathed.

We’re taught that big is better than small… and short is bad while good is tall..

But if we make ourselves too big and tall… There’s no place left for Hashem at all!

Satan smiled a creepy smile & said, “Very well, young man, you’ve passed this test.”

Satan raised both hands. There was a powerful loud vibrating sound…

Like a jet taking off… It hurt ears for miles. An invisible shield suddenly…

Appeared around Mee Kah-El’s army and people.

Only the front dozen enemy elephants were in the bubble.

They rapidly surrendered when they lost their riders.

Neither the enemy nor their bullets could reach the defenders… for now.

Satan smiled at a lesson he’d taught the young man… He wished he’d been harsher.

Mee Kah-El was so happy the shield was in place.

With guards… He ran from his spot to visit his fallen & injured soldiers.

Mee Kah-El cared for his men… He explained how sorry he was for their casualties…

They laughed & called him a great general… that he got them the protective bubble. They asked how he got that for them. He replied,

“I showed Satan how pathetically powerless I am… without Divine intervention.”

The men laughed so hard, they felt more pain than they’d felt fighting… so far.

Everyone knew this was only a pause… They knew the war was far from over.

We’re taught that big is better than small… and short is bad while good is tall..

But if we make ourselves too big and tall… There’s no place left for Hashem at all!
