Lyrics

“¿Flores por los muertos…” cries an old woman in tattered clothes…

In the last abandoned village… before the Watchung Mountains

Make a run for freedom. She was selling drooping flowers…

For anyone attending a funeral in this abandoned place…

“¿Flores por los muertos. ¿Flores por los muertos?

Ven aquí. Por flores por los muertos.”

She gets into her old carriage & prods her mule under an orange full moon…

Hours later, Angel Euruua, with her angel helpers, crosses paths & locks eyes with

The old woman as she rubs the mule’s nose. Euruua bluntly asks,

“Do I know you, old woman? Why do I feel your eyes speaking to me?”

“¿Flores por los muertos mi jefe? O… es mi bruja?”

Angel Euruura stands up straight. Now she knows this is no ordinary old woman,

“Woman… Did you just call me a witch?”

“Ahhh… senora… your spanish eees good… is it not? So, are You an angel or a witch?”

“Who are you, old woman? Are you a witch?”

“Ah Ha Ha Ha, no I pull the carriage… I carry the passenger…”

The Angel of Arms speaks firmly,

“Woman, please stop bothering our leader…

Declare your purpose… or step aside.”

“Or what dearie? What will you do to this old woman? Eh?

Do you wish to know who my passenger is?

Do you wish to know the true identity of this mule?”

The Angel in Arms is perplexed… This whole situation has grown too complex…

The old woman lifts her shawl over her head… And prays deeply…

Her eyes open… out of a trance. She points to the mule & says, “He’s God.”

Dozens of hardened soldiers laugh at this increasingly odd spectacle.

The more the mule brays… the more the men convulse into laughter.

Troops laugh… until the mule stands up and explodes into light…

From within the light, a deep voice speaks… It says,

“Men in black… I’m God… Your Creator… You oppose ME.

I’m tired of killing my failed creations… but if you persist…

I may need to kill you too… Atone and I shall spare you.”

“Euruura… You’re a witch… You were my sister… I hate You…

It’s so unfair how you lure in every man. It's so unfair. It’s so unfair.

Why have I been left so unloved and so alone?”

“Mee Kah-El,” Alisha sighs, “I miss you so badly my love… come back alive.”

“Of course, my love,” Mee Kah-El think-speaks, “Being with you is all I want.”

In a flash… the old woman and mule were gone… nothing was there… Hulking soldiers were left with mouths wide open… cigarettes dangling, & eyes stunned wide open.

General Kluurnggen rushed to see these odd visitors…

He raised his gun at his soldiers and said,

“Men… This is a war of belief… Either you believe in us…

Or you believe in them. How many believe in the talking light or mule?

Tell me so I know whom I must kill as traitors. What? None of you?”

Wind whispered,

“Gertha, you’ve always been jealous... Please stop… Mom taught you black magic.

Only I was intended to be God’s child… or was I intended to be God’s wife?”

Gusts replied,

“Euruura… You’re a witch… You were my sister… I hate You…

It’s so unfair how you lure in every man… from Dad… to God… to Satan.

It’s so unfair. It’s so unfair. Why have I been left so unloved and so alone?”

“Mee Kah-El,” Alisha sighs, “I miss you so badly my love… come back alive.”

“Of course, my love,” Mee Kah-El think-speaks, “Being with you is all I want.”
